TEOCALI

'Teocali' is a graduation short film made during our final year at Howest University of Applied Sciences – Digital Arts and Entertainment, Belgium.

This story is rooted in Meso-American mythology.

A village girl is plagued by prophetic dreams foretelling the imminent destruction of their world. In response, her village condemns her to be a human sacrifice, believing that her death will appease the gods and avert the impending catastrophe.

In their ignorance, they only invite further disaster.
