This is some facial mocap I did for my graduation work.
The paper explores two innovative methods for transferring facial motion capture (mocap) data using advanced AI systems to analyze video footage and generate compatible data for animation software.
The first method uses MocapX to transfer facial mocap data into Autodesk Maya, which is good for creating stylized animations with Maya's capabilities for manipulation and refinement. Here I made a facial animation for a project I'm working on with a friend.
The second method uses Metahuman Animator to transfer facial mocap data into Unreal Engine, leveraging Unreal Engine's powerful real-time rendering and detailed character models from the Metahuman library. This approach is particularly suited for producing highly realistic animations with lifelike character expressions and movements. here I made an introduction of myself and some expressions to find the limits of the software.
